Microsoft has filed a second pre-beta version of Windows Embedded Standard 2011 CTP2. The basis of the solution is a component-based version of Windows 7.

Windows Embedded Standard 2011 CTP2 - this special edition for use in embedded solutions, such as multimedia home devices, ATMs and kiosks, self-service terminals.
