1. Does having it cause any damage? What is the gain in it's removal?

2. Perhaps it could be re-jigged into a mailing list to discuss the possibility
of developing configuration management tools. I know there are a couple of guys
here in the UK that are interested in looking at that in the next few months.
We could keep this as our "home" if nobody else wants it. The name even fits.
