This is weird. Can you show me the output from the following commands?

uname -a
pkg_info -xc gcc
which gcc

I'm also seeing this. Although the build.xml peered with the erroneous update.c mentions gcc33 in the echo, the following line begins:

	<apply executable="gcc" ...

and the stock system gcc doesn't know about declarations at the first point of use (which is what's "wrong" with update.c)

This is on a very recent -stable.

Just to be clear: the version of the port I have has the bug in line 52 of /usr/ports/java/eclipse/files/update-build.xml (sorry if this has already been fixed).
