this whole mess can be avoided by just using gnubox. gnubox modifies communication database settings on some symbian phones so it is possible to create access point which will use bluetooth instead of gprs/gsm data.

Yes, thank you very much for detailed explanation.

I can now connect to FreeBSD, but link drops if I try to send any data.

I've got this in /var/log/messages:

Dec 13 21:36:22 home kernel: ng_ubt_rcvdata: ubt0 - Dropping HCI frame 0x1, len=124. Queue full
Dec 13 21:36:22 home kernel: ng_ubt_rcvdata: ubt0 - Dropping HCI frame 0x1, len=34. Queue full
Dec 13 21:36:23 home kernel: ng_ubt_rcvdata: ubt0 - Dropping HCI frame 0x1, len=35. Queue full
Dec 13 21:36:24 home kernel: ng_ubt_rcvdata: ubt0 - Dropping HCI frame 0x1, len=35. Queue full

After this links dies.
Looks similar to unanswered mail in this list:

Any idea what's going wrong?
Thank you.
